CHANGE Workshops
CHANGE hosts three annual workshops (2024, 2025, 2026), covering the process of generating data using NAMs, incorporating the data as evidence in risk assessments, and using the risk assessment as a basis for decision making.
The workshops are in-person. A stepwise approach to knowledge formulation is being used:
- 2024: CHANGE explored the structures and culture of regulatory science and identify barriers deemed important by risk managers, assessors and/or researchers
- 2025: CHANGE will reflect on the importance for uptake and implementation of NAMs data in risk assessment and risk management to gain consensus on what is actually important
- 2026: CHANGE will decide on what should be done to break down the barriers by prioritising practically achievable steps for action and developing recommendations.
