Main message:
The VKM panel on genetically modified organisms has, at the request of the Directorate for Nature Management and the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, carried out a risk assessment for oilseed rape MS8, RF3 and the hybrid MS8xRF3 from Bayer CropScience AG (C/BE/96/01 concerning potential effects on health and environment.
The assessment is made in connection with an application for approval of the rape for import, industrial processing and use in feed in Norway.
