Main message:
VKM has carried out a health and environmental risk assessment of the herbicide tolerant and insect resistant maize hybrid MON 89034 x 1507 x MON 88017 x 59122 (EFSA/GMO/CZ/2008/62) from Monsanto and Dow AgroSciences.
The assessment was carried out on behalf of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Directorate of Nature Management.
The genetically modified maize hybrid was assessed for import and processing for use in food and feed. The application does not include cultivation in Norway.
