The Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food Safety (VKM) supports EFSA in their proposed supplementary Guidance Document on allergenicity assessment of genetically modified (GM) plants
On 26th of July 2016 EFSA launched a public consultation on a draft Guidance Document. Interested parties were invited to submit written comments by 25th of September 2016.
The document from EFSA will provide supplementary guidance on specific topics:
These topics are not fully covered in the existing guidance document on risk assessment of GM plants for use in food and feed.
